Knock Out Parkinson’s Demonstration & Tour
November 17 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Knock-Out Parkinson’s is a therapeutic boxing program for individuals of varying ages diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. The program is a result of a Capstone project developed by The University of Toledo. Since 2014, the Knock Out Parkinson’s Disease Program has grown from a handful to more than 150 adults. Besides the benefits of boxing and exercise to slow the progression of Parkinson’s disease, participants enjoy the camaraderie and emotional support of their “first name family.”
Citizen Advisory Group invites you to learn more about all that Knock Out Parkinson’s has to offer. Join CAG at the International Boxing Club for a Knock Out Parkinson’s demonstration and facility tour with Coach Harry.
